Gift Links
Gift links are issued by the contactID team and add credits, subscription time, or a signature-free period to your account the moment you redeem them.
A gift link is a link issued by the contactID team that gives the account that redeems it a contactID plan for free, for a set number of days. Users cannot create gift links themselves.
1. Where They Come From Support, partnerships and promotions. If you received one, it came from us.
2. What A Gift Can Contain One plan (Starter, Growth, Pro or Scale) for a number of days, as decided when the gift was issued. While the gifted plan runs you get that plan’s websites, and your messages go out without the contactID signature. A gift never adds separate website credits or a signature-only period.
3. Redeeming Open the link and press Claim your gift. If you already have an account, sign in first and then open the link: the gift is applied to that account at once. A new account gets the gift the moment it finishes the setup steps after signing up. The gifted plan then shows in your credits meter and on the Plan & Billing page.

Gift links are created by the contactID team only. There is no option for users to create or sell them.
1. Want To Share contactID? Use your referral link from the Referrals page on the dashboard (open it with Refer To Earn in the extension’s account menu): every friend who signs up through it gets a welcome bonus, and you earn rewards when they become active or subscribe to a plan.
2. Want To Give Credits To Someone? Contact support from the dashboard; for business or partnership cases we can issue a gift link.

Because gift links are issued by the contactID team, there is nothing to send from your side. If you want to bring a friend, share your referral link instead.
1. Your Referral Link Refer To Earn in the extension’s account menu opens the Referrals page on the dashboard. Copy the link there, or press Share to send it through Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, a QR code and more.
2. What Your Friend Gets A welcome bonus in website credits when they finish signing up, extra credits if they later subscribe to a plan, and, when the program has them switched on, a discount on their first plan payment (applied at checkout) or some days without the contactID signature. The Referrals page lists exactly what is on right now.

Redeeming takes one click.
1. Steps
- Open the gift link you received and press Claim your gift.
- New to contactID: sign up (Google or an email code) and finish the setup steps. The gift is applied the moment setup is done, and the dashboard shows You’ve got a gift!
- Already have an account: sign in first, then open the gift link again and press Claim your gift. The gift is applied to that account at once and the page confirms it.
2. Where To See It The gifted plan and its websites show in the credits meter in the extension and on the Plan & Billing page.
3. If It Does Not Work The link may be expired, paused, removed, used up, already redeemed by you, limited to another email or to new accounts, or your account may already have a paid plan or a gift running. The gift page shows link problems before you sign up, and when you claim a gift while signed in the page names the reason. Contact support with the link and the email you used.
Related questions:
Each gift link carries its own rules, set when it is issued.
1. Expiry A link may have an expiry date; after it, the link cannot be redeemed.
2. Uses A link may be single-use or allow a number of redemptions; once used up, it stops working.
3. Restrictions A link may be limited to specific email addresses, or to new accounts only (created in the last 7 days, no paid plan before). A paid subscriber cannot redeem a gift (a gift never replaces a plan you pay for), and gifts do not stack: while one gift runs, a second cannot be added.
4. Credits Once Redeemed You get the gifted plan’s monthly number of websites once, for the whole length of the gift (it does not refill each month, even when the gift lasts longer than a month). When the gift ends, its unused websites end too and the account returns to pay-as-you-go. Credits you bought yourself are untouched. contactID records when a gift is three days from its end and when it ends, and can email you at those moments when that journey is on, so you can subscribe if you want to keep the plan.
