Getting Started

ContactID is a Chrome extension that automates contact form outreach at scale. Upload a list of target websites, and the extension opens each one, detects the contact form, fills every field with your personal information and pitch message, then submits. Part of the brandID family of business tools.

The three core pieces:

• The web dashboard at app.brandid.app for billing, agent management, imports, and results.
• The Chrome extension that opens tabs and fills forms in real time.
• Your agents: saved sender profiles containing name, email, company, pitch message, and AI personalization prompt. See agents and profiles.

How a typical run works: import URLs → pick your agent → click Start Batch → the extension opens tabs (default 5 concurrent tabs) → detects the contact form → fills each field with your data → optionally personalizes the pitch via AI → submits → moves to the next URL. What used to take a full day of clicking runs in minutes while you work on something else.

Accounts are free to create. No credit card required to start.

1. Visit the ContactID sign-up page.
2. Enter your email and pick a password, or click Continue with Google.
3. If using email+password: check your inbox for the verification code (subject: “<code> is your ContactID verification code”).
4. Enter the 6-digit code to activate the account.

Once verified, your account has 30 free website credits ready to use. Install the extension next (see below) and you’re set.

The signup form asks for the minimum needed to create the account:

• Email address. Used for sign-in, notifications, and your default sender email in agents.
• Password. Minimum 8 characters, at least one number.
• Full name. Used as your default agent’s sender name.

Nothing else is required at signup. You can add company name, phone, website, and other agent-profile fields later when you build your first agent.

Email verification confirms you own the address, protects your account from typos, and unlocks full ContactID access. Verification happens once per email address and takes under a minute.

1. When verification happens.

• Sign up with email + password (Google sign-ups skip this).
• Change your account email to a new one.
• Attempt a password reset.

2. Enter the six-digit code. Right after signup, ContactID sends a verification code from [email protected]. The subject line is “123456 is your ContactID verification code” (where 123456 is your actual code), so you can read the code straight from the subject without opening the email.

Open the email or read the subject, copy the six digits, paste into the verification field, click Verify.

3. Code rules.

• Expiry: 10 minutes from send.
• Attempts: 5 tries per code before you must request a new one.
• Resend cooldown: 2 minutes between resend requests.

4. Not receiving the code. Check spam, wait 60 seconds (some inboxes delay), verify you typed the right email at signup. If still nothing, click Resend after the 2-minute cooldown. Persistent problems: see troubleshooting.

Two-minute install from the Chrome Web Store.

1. Open the ContactID extension listing.
2. Click Add to Chrome.
3. Approve the permissions (see permissions explained).
4. Pin the extension to your toolbar for one-click access.

ContactID works on all Chromium-based browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi. Firefox and Safari are not currently supported.

1. Click the ContactID icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the side panel.
2. Click Sign In.
3. Enter your account email and password, or click Continue with Google.
4. The side panel switches to the dashboard view: queue, agents, credit balance.

You stay signed in across browser restarts. To sign out, use the account menu inside the side panel.

The web dashboard at app.brandid.app is the control center for everything that isn’t real-time form filling. Its sections:

• Overview: credit balance, recent activity, active batches.
• Agents: create and edit sender profiles. See agents and profiles.
• Imports: upload CSVs, monitor Import Jobs, review dedup summaries. See importing targets.
• Activity / Results: log of every send with status, screenshot, and export. See monitoring results.
• Billing: plans, credit purchases, invoices, gift links. See billing and payments.
• Settings: profile, password, sessions, notifications.

The extension side panel handles the run-time controls (start/pause/stop batch, active queue view).

ContactID offers five plans, from a free trial through pay-as-you-go and four subscription tiers.

• Pay-as-you-go (PAYG). No subscription. $0.15 per successful contact. Buy credits in packages.
• Starter, $9.99/month. 100 sends/month included at effective $0.10/site, extras $0.15/site.
• Growth, $49.99/month. 833 sends/month at effective $0.06/site, extras $0.09/site.
• Pro, $99.99/month. 3,333 sends/month at effective $0.03/site.

Every new ContactID account gets 30 free website credits so you can try the full platform end to end before deciding on a plan.

1. What’s included. The 30 free credits give full access to:

• Every Chrome extension feature
• Every AI Personalization feature (subject to AI wallet balance)
• Every agent creation and management tool
• Every dashboard section including Activity, Imports, Results Export

The only limit is the 30-successful-send cap.

2. When credits are consumed. A free credit is consumed when a form submission attempt succeeds. Failed submissions consume zero. See plans and pricing for the exact credit model.

3. Free credits are lifetime, not monthly. Once your 30 credits are used, they don’t refresh. Upgrade or buy PAYG credits to keep sending.

4. Free credits never expire. Use 5 today, come back 6 months later, the remaining 25 are still there.

To delete your account permanently:

1. Sign in and go to Settings then Account.
2. Click Delete Account.
3. Confirm by entering your password.

What gets removed:

• All personal data (profile, agents, saved payment methods)
• All imports and Activity history
• All AI Personalization prompt history

Data retention: primary data removed within 30 days; backup retention up to 90 days per privacy policy.

Unused credits: non-refundable on deletion. Cancel your subscription first if you want to keep using existing credits before deleting.
