AI Message Generation
Contextual AI reads bios, followers, and niche cues to draft pitches that don’t sound like templates.
Three inputs feed the AI:
- Public profile data the profile reader extracted (name, handle, bio, follower count, niche cues)
- Your custom prompt template telling the AI who you are, what you offer, and what tone to use
- Campaign context like the goal (partnership, product seeding, agency pitch) and any notes on the target
The AI drafts a message that references the specific profile, in your voice, aimed at your goal. Not a template blast.
The AI weaves in signals like:
- Bio content: interests, self-description, taglines
- Follower size: pitches to nano-influencers vs macro read differently
- Niche keywords: fitness, fashion, tech, whatever they signal
- Business signals: “For collabs” / “PR” / “business inquiries” in the bio
- Optional metadata you supplied in the CSV (display name, niche, notes)
The AI never uses information the platform hides from you as a normal user.
The biggest lever is your prompt template. A vague prompt (“write an outreach DM”) produces vague messages. A sharp prompt produces sharp messages:
- State your goal: partnership, affiliate, product seeding, agency intro
- State your identity: who you are, why you’re reaching out, what you offer
- State your tone: casual, formal, playful, professional
- State the length: “under 3 sentences” typically works
- Give a good example of what a strong pitch looks like
See custom prompts and templates for a full best-practices guide.
Yes, via your prompt. Include instructions like:
- “Keep it under 50 words”
- “Use a casual, playful tone with light humor”
- “Sound like a real person, not a marketer”
- “End with a specific question they can answer in one line”
Save multiple prompt templates for different situations (casual for creators, formal for B2B, ultra-short for TikTok). Switch between them in the campaign selector.
Tap the Regenerate button next to the message editor. The AI drafts a fresh angle on the same profile with the same prompt.
Regeneration uses one AI credit. If you find yourself regenerating a lot, tweaking your prompt usually helps more than repeated regenerations. See plans and billing for credit info.
The AI references public bio content (“I saw you’re into sustainable fashion”) but doesn’t copy full sentences or long snippets verbatim. Personalization is about signaling that you actually looked at their profile, not plagiarism.
Occasionally the AI may quote a very short phrase from the bio for emphasis, which is fine. Anything longer would sound weird and get flagged as spam.
The AI has a small amount of controlled randomness (temperature) so it doesn’t produce identical output for identical input. This is a feature:
- Recipients see different angles and phrasing, so DMs don’t feel copy-paste
- Regeneration is meaningful, you actually get a different draft
- Bulk campaigns across similar profiles get natural variation
Your prompt provides consistency (goal, tone), the AI provides variety (specific wording, opening line).
