Side Panel Interface
Tour of the DMpro side panel: profile reader, message editor, campaign selector, and send controls.
Two ways:
- Click the DMpro icon in your Chrome toolbar (pin it first for one-click access).
- Right-click any page, choose Open side panel then pick DMpro from the panel switcher.
The panel slides in from the right side of the browser window. It stays open while you browse tabs, so you can hop between Instagram profiles without reopening it every time.
The side panel has four primary areas:
- Header: your account, credit balance, and campaign selector.
- Profile reader: what DMpro extracted from the current profile (name, handle, bio, follower count, key niche cues).
- Message editor: the AI-drafted pitch, editable inline, with a regenerate button.
- Send controls: send as DM, send as email (if a public email was extracted), or add to a campaign list.
The moment you land on an Instagram or TikTok profile, DMpro’s profile reader scans the visible content:
- Handle and display name
- Bio text (the full bio as public users see it)
- Follower count and following count
- Public email or contact info if listed in the bio
- Niche cues from the bio: keywords, hashtags, category words
The extracted data is what feeds into AI message generation. If the profile has no bio, the AI has less to work with and drafts a more generic pitch.
Right in the middle of the side panel. The AI-drafted message appears in a text area with:
- The full message body
- A character count to help you stay within Instagram / TikTok DM limits
- A Regenerate button if you want a different take
- Inline editing, so you can tweak wording without leaving DMpro
Whatever’s in the preview when you hit send is what gets sent, so review before you fire.
At the top of the side panel there’s a campaign selector dropdown. Click it to pick from your saved campaigns, and the AI will use that campaign’s prompt template when it drafts new messages.
Switching campaigns doesn’t affect messages you’ve already sent. Only future generations use the newly-selected prompt.
Yes. Chrome’s side panel stays open across tabs by default, so you can navigate through 20 Instagram profiles in a row and the DMpro panel updates its content for each one automatically.
If the panel closes accidentally, click the DMpro icon in the toolbar to reopen. Your progress (drafts, campaign selection) is preserved.
