Monitoring Results

See exactly what contactID sent, track status in real time, export your history, and understand what drives your success rate.

Every website contactID contacts is recorded in two places: the Send tab, which shows what is happening live while a run is in progress, and the dashboard’s Analytics page, which holds the full history.

1. The Send Tab (Live)

While a batch is running, the Send tab shows a card for every website in the queue. Each card displays:

  • The website.
  • Status. Whether it was sent, failed, or has no form.
  • Last attempt time.
  • Agent. Which agent handled the send.
  • Category. The category the site was matched to.
  • Language. The detected language of the site.
  • Error. If the send failed, the reason is shown right on the card.

This is the fastest way to watch a run in progress and catch problems early.

2. The Analytics Page (Full History)

Open your dashboard at app.brandid.app and go to Analytics for the complete record of every send you have ever made, not just the current run. This is where you go after the fact to review a batch, compare agents, or dig into a specific submission.

Open any website card in Analytics to see full send details, covered in the next section.

Clicking into any website card in Analytics opens a detail view with a complete breakdown of that submission, including exactly what contactID typed into the form.

1. Timing And Technical Detail

  • Exact send time. When the submission happened.
  • Total time. How long the whole attempt took.
  • Page load time.
  • Form detection time.
  • Form filling time.
  • Submit method. How the form was submitted.
  • CAPTCHA handling. Whether a CAPTCHA was encountered and how it was handled.
  • AI personalization. Whether it was used for this send.
  • Extension version. Which version of contactID ran the send.

2. The Exact Field Values

The detail view also shows exactly what contactID typed or selected into the form:

  • Your name as entered.
  • Your email as entered.
  • The message text that was submitted.
  • Which box was ticked, for any checkbox fields on the form.

Together, this is the full audit trail of what was actually sent to that website. There is no guessing about what a form received; the record shows the real values field by field.

contactID does not take or store screenshots of the forms it fills out. If you are looking for a screenshot to confirm a send, use the Analytics detail view instead.

1. The Real Audit Trail

The Analytics detail view’s exact-field-value record (your name, email, message text, and any ticked box) is the audit trail for every submission. It tells you precisely what was sent, field by field.

2. Why This Is Actually More Useful

A screenshot is a snapshot of a moment. Many forms redirect to a different page or clear their fields immediately after submit, so a screenshot taken even a second late would show nothing useful. The exact-field-value record does not have that problem: it reflects what was submitted, regardless of what the page does afterward.

Every website in a batch ends up in one of three states. Here is exactly what each one means and how it affects your credits.

1. Sent

A website is marked Sent when all of the following happened:

  • The form was detected on the page.
  • Every required field was filled.
  • The submit button was clicked.
  • The site signaled acceptance: a success page, a thank-you message, a 200 response containing success text, or a known success redirect.

One website credit is used for a Sent status.

2. Failed

A website is marked Failed when some step in that process did not complete, such as:

  • The form was not detected.
  • A field on the form was of an unsupported type.
  • Bot protection blocked the submission.
  • No success signal was received after submitting.
  • A network error occurred.

No credit is used for a Failed status.

3. No Form

A website is marked No Form when the URL was never actually attempted, for example:

  • It was a duplicate already in your queue.
  • The domain was blocklisted.
  • The batch was cancelled before reaching it.

No credit is used, and No Form results do not affect your batch stats.

4. No Manual Reclassification

There is no way to manually change a status after the fact. The record reflects exactly what contactID observed at send time.

Failure rate depends almost entirely on the quality of your list, not on contactID. Here is what to expect based on where your list came from.

1. Typical Ranges By List Source

  • Curated, paid B2B list. 10% to 20% failures.
  • Scraped directory list. 25% to 40% failures.
  • Generic Google-search scrape. 40% to 60% failures.
  • Unfiltered “any URL from the internet” list. 60% to 80% failures.

2. The Biggest Lever

Investing in list quality is the single biggest lever for a healthier success rate. A tool like Find Websites can help you build a more targeted, higher-quality list before you send, rather than working through a broad, unfiltered one.

contactID gives you two ways to get your data out: a full-featured Advanced Export, and quick one-click exports right on the Send tab.

1. Advanced Export

Advanced Export is available from the Send tab’s run menu, and from the Agent tab for exporting agents. It lets you:

  • Choose a format. CSV, Excel, JSON, XML, HTML report, or Markdown.
  • Filter by status, agent, category, and date range.
  • Pick columns. Choose from 40+ renameable columns.
  • Sort and dedupe your results.
  • Save presets so you don’t have to rebuild the same export twice.
  • Preview the result before exporting.

Exports are on demand only; there is no scheduled or emailed export.

2. Quick Export From The Send Tab

For a fast, no-frills export, quick per-filter CSV and TXT export buttons are also available directly on the Send tab. Use these when you just need the current filtered view as a file, without configuring a full Advanced Export.

contactID does not see replies. When a website responds to your submission, it lands as a normal email in your own inbox, and the extension has no access to that inbox.

1. What You Can Measure Today

  • Success rate on the run panel and in Analytics.
  • Per-agent success rate, when running an A/B split: each agent’s live success rate is shown side by side on the Send tab.

2. Counting Replies Yourself

To find out how many replies a run generated, search your inbox for the subject line you used in that batch. This will not be tracked inside contactID, but it is the most reliable way to check today.

contactID keeps two related but distinct records of what happened on your account.

1. The Sends List

The Sends list (Activity > Sends) is one row per form submission attempt: exactly what you see reflected in the Send tab and Analytics.

2. The Activity Log

The broader Activity log (Activity > Log) also captures account-level events, including:

  • Sign-ins.
  • Agent changes.
  • Top-ups.
  • Plan changes.
  • Batch starts and stops.

Each entry has a timestamp and enough detail to reconstruct what happened, which makes the log useful for auditing your account or tracing something unexpected.

3. How Long History Stays

History stays on your account until you clear it or delete your account. Clearing history removes it from the Send tab list only; Analytics keeps the full record regardless.
