Sprinklr is not a typical social media tool. It is an enterprise customer experience platform, and Sprinklr Social is the part of it that manages publishing, engagement and governance across social and messaging channels. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (ticker CXM), counts 59 percent of the Fortune 100 as customers, and sells by quote only. There is no pricing page and no self-serve trial.
This review explains what Sprinklr Social does, how the product is packaged, what we know and do not know about its price, what users say on G2, where it is weak and who should consider it. Product facts come from Sprinklr’s own site, help center and SEC filings, checked on 6 October 2026. Where Sprinklr does not publish a fact, we say so instead of guessing.
Key Takeaways

What Is Sprinklr?
Sprinklr describes Sprinklr Social as an AI-native social media management platform that brings publishing, engagement, advertising, employee advocacy and customer service together on one platform. Its annual filing describes the product as a suite of AI-based products that unifies social media management across publishing, engagement, influencers, employee advocacy and analytics across 30+ channels.
The key thing to understand is the packaging. Sprinklr sells four suites on one platform: Social, Insights, Marketing and Service. Social listening lives in Insights, social advertising lives in Marketing, and social customer care lives in Service. Whether a Sprinklr Social contract bundles any of those is not published. Sprinklr’s own blog calls the product a premium, enterprise-tier investment and positions it for mid-market to large enterprise teams with complex social media needs.
Sprinklr was founded in 2009 by Ragy Thomas, who is now Chairman. Rory Read, formerly CEO of Vonage, became CEO in November 2024. The company reduced its workforce by about 15 percent in early 2025, according to a filing, and reported FY2026 revenue of 857.2 million dollars, up 8 percent.
Key Features of Sprinklr
1. Publishing and the editorial calendar
Sprinklr’s Omnichannel Publisher lets you build a post once, customize it per channel, preview it and publish to 30+ channels. AI recommends send times, and published posts can be boosted through ads. A shared Editorial Calendar shows posts, events and campaigns with custom views and filters, and a Digital Asset Manager handles bulk upload and search.
Bulk publishing works by importing a CSV or Excel file into the calendar. The help center lists required columns such as message name, post time, campaign name and account, and supports events, campaigns and updates. It does not state a maximum number of rows per file, so check that with Sprinklr if you publish in volume. Other publishing tools include a UGC board with approvals, a rules and automation engine, a link-in-bio microsite, Instagram product tagging and automatic halting of publishing during a surge of negative sentiment.
Recent releases show how fast it moves. The March 2026 release added TikTok music library access and an Instagram comment-disable option, and the Summer 2026 release added a conversational AI writing assistant, video generation from prompts and a CreatorIQ integration for boosting creator posts.
2. Approvals and governance
Governance is Sprinklr’s strongest area. When publishing you can require no approval, require approval by the account owner, or follow an approval path with tiered or parallel steps. Approval rules can be assigned automatically, and notes can carry attachments. Sprinklr does not publish a limit on the number of approval tiers.
Smart Approvals uses AI to flag profanity, inappropriate imagery, low image quality, a missing brand logo and tone problems, and sorts drafts into looks good, might need review and must be reviewed. The help center says it works in English and Arabic only and needs extra setup. Role-based access, audit trails and custom roles support large teams and franchise structures.
3. Engagement and inbox
The Engagement Dashboard collects comments, mentions and messages from all connected channels, adds sentiment, routes messages with inbound rules to teams or queues, and suggests AI replies. Macros let a team apply a saved set of actions to a message in one click, and auto-respond rules answer common messages.
AI helps here too. Intuition Moderation classifies messages as engageable or not and as a complaint, compliment, inquiry or lead. Smart Response Compliance checks replies for biased, profane or improper wording, and an AI summarizer condenses long comment threads. A separate ad-comment moderation product unifies paid and organic comments on 5+ channels. Full customer care with skill-based routing and bots is part of the Sprinklr Service suite, not Social.
4. Social listening, advertising and advocacy
Social listening is sold in Sprinklr Insights. Sprinklr says it covers 30+ channels, offers firehose access to 10+ channels, detects logos in images and includes competitive benchmarking and crisis alerts. Social advertising sits in Sprinklr Marketing and manages paid campaigns on 10+ channels with bidding, budget pacing and a kill switch for risky ads.
Employee Advocacy provides a shareable content library, preset captions, gamification and a mobile app for employees. Distributed Marketing lets franchise and local teams use brand assets and schedule posts within approval rules. We could not verify whether any of these are bundled into a Sprinklr Social contract.
5. AI: AI+, Copilot and AI agents
Sprinklr AI+ is the umbrella for its generative and predictive AI. Sprinklr says personal data is masked and that no customer data is used to train its own or third-party models. In Social, Sprinklr documents 15 AI features, including sentiment, writing assistance, Smart Approvals, Smart Response Compliance, AI alt text, image editing and a Social Copilot. Sprinklr Copilot lets users filter posts, generate content and ask performance questions in plain language, and the March 2026 release added creating reporting widgets from natural-language queries.
Several AI features need feature flags or AI+ entitlements, according to the help center, and the underlying language models are not specified for each feature. Sprinklr AI Agents are mainly a Service product for customer-facing chat, voice and email.
6. Integrations, mobile and security
Sprinklr lists about 80 named integrations on its integrations page, including Adobe, Canva, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Slack, Zendesk, Okta and Snowflake, and says AI integrations include OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock and Gemini. Marketing pages quote 100+ integrations, so the count depends on the page. Native iOS and Android apps support publishing, the engagement dashboard and approval notifications, though multi-account publishing from the mobile app is limited to simple posts on four networks.
On security, Sprinklr lists ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS Level 1 and FedRAMP authorization, SAML single sign-on, role-based access and IP restrictions. It hosts on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud with data centers in the United States and Europe, chosen at contracting. We could not verify HIPAA support.
7. Implementation and support
Sprinklr’s annual filing describes implementation, training and managed services aimed at delivering value from day one, with a kickoff meeting, outcome planning and executive business reviews. Sprinklr University offers self-paced courses, webinars and custom classes. G2 reviewers report an average implementation time of about two months. Sprinklr’s support tiers and SLAs are not published.

Sprinklr Pricing
| Plan | Price | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Sprinklr Social | Custom, contact sales | Publishing, engagement, advocacy and distributed marketing across 30+ channels |
| Sprinklr Insights | Custom, contact sales | Social listening and consumer intelligence |
| Sprinklr Marketing | Custom, contact sales | Social advertising and campaign management |
| Sprinklr Service | Custom, contact sales | Customer care, bots and AI agents |
Sprinklr’s own comparison page says pricing is custom with a free demo available. It publishes no plan names, no per-seat or per-profile price, and no user or profile caps, and its /pricing page returns an error. G2 and Capterra both state that no free trial is available.
Contract details are also not published by Sprinklr itself. Its filing says it sells subscriptions and grows by cross-selling more products to existing customers, but the term length and billing basis could not be verified from a primary source. Before signing, ask which suites are included, how users, channels or volumes are counted, the term and renewal notice, and whether implementation and training are extra.
Sprinklr by the Numbers
Because Sprinklr is a public company, its numbers are on record. Its fiscal year ends on 31 January. These figures come from its FY2026 annual filing and earnings release.
| Metric | Figure |
|---|---|
| FY2026 total revenue | 857.2 million dollars, up 8 percent |
| FY2026 subscription revenue | 756.3 million dollars, up 5 percent |
| FY2026 net income | 22.9 million dollars |
| Customers at 31 January 2026 | 1,677, including 59 percent of the Fortune 100 |
| Customers above 1 million dollars a year | 141 |
| Employees at 31 January 2026 | 3,258 |
Sprinklr’s guidance for FY2027 implies growth of about 1 percent, so it is a mature company focused on profitability and AI rather than rapid expansion. That context matters when you negotiate a multi-year contract.
What Users Say About Sprinklr Social
On G2, Sprinklr Social scores 4.1 out of 5 from 1,223 reviews as of 6 October 2026. This is third-party opinion, not our own testing. Sprinklr’s own site cites a higher figure, 4.2 with 2,000+ reviews, which appears to combine several products, so we use the G2 page for this product.
| What reviewers praise | Mentions | What reviewers criticize | Mentions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ease of use | 79 | Complex usage | 51 |
| Centralized management | 70 | Learning curve | 45 |
G2’s summary says users like the analytics and centralized management and find the learning curve steep. One reviewer says setting it up is a whole job in itself, and another calls the interface overwhelming for beginners while praising the AI features. On Capterra, which lists the platform as a whole, reviewers report similar themes, but we could not verify exact figures because the page was behind a bot check.

Final Verdict
Sprinklr is one of the most capable platforms in this list, and one of the least approachable. Its strengths are channel breadth, governance, AI and enterprise security. Its weaknesses are the lack of any public pricing, a steep learning curve and a sales-led process that makes quick evaluation impossible.
Consider it if you are a large brand or agency with complex approvals, many markets and an enterprise budget. For most teams, a tool with public pricing and a free trial will be faster to adopt and cheaper. Compare it with the others in our best social media management tools guide before you request a quote.
