SocialPilot Review (2026): Features, Pricing, Pros & Cons

SocialPilot is a social media management tool aimed at small businesses and agencies. Its pitch is a flat plan with a set number of social accounts and users, plus client seats and white-label options on the higher tiers, instead of a price per seat. It covers 10 networks, offers bulk scheduling, a social inbox with automation, an AI assistant and detailed reports, and it has been owned by the web services group group.one since 2025.

This review covers what SocialPilot does, what each plan includes, what you really pay, where it falls short and who it suits. Product and pricing facts come from SocialPilot’s own Plans page, help center and newsroom, checked on 7 October 2026. SocialPilot’s website has two different pricing pages, and we explain which one to trust below.

What Is SocialPilot?

SocialPilot was founded by Jimit Bagadiya and Tejas Mehta and grew without outside funding. The company is incorporated in the United States, with its engineering and operations in Ahmedabad, India. SocialPilot says it passed 9.7 million dollars of revenue in 2024 and serves more than 15,000 customers. In July 2025 it announced that it would be acquired by group.one, a Swedish web services group backed by the private equity firm Cinven. The terms were not disclosed, and SocialPilot has not said how the roadmap will change.

Its product has a clear agency angle. You can create clients, let them connect their own accounts without sharing passwords, send posts for client approval, add your logo to reports, and on the top plan run the whole dashboard under your own brand and domain. SocialPilot also sells a separate product, SocialPilot Reviews, for review management, which is not covered here.

Key Features of SocialPilot

1. Networks and publishing

SocialPilot’s plan page lists 10 networks: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Bluesky. Its help center also mentions Tumblr and Facebook Groups, but they are not on the marketing list, so we do not count them. We found no Mastodon, Telegram, Snapchat, Reddit or link-in-bio support.

Publishing is direct for most networks. Instagram Business and Creator accounts publish directly for posts, Stories and Reels, and you can choose a mobile reminder for Stories and Reels. Instagram personal accounts are reminder-only. TikTok defaults to direct publishing, with a mobile reminder as the alternative. Help articles describe network limits, for example up to 10 items in an Instagram carousel, 4 images on X and 300 characters on Bluesky, and a Google Business post uses only the first image.

2. Scheduling, queues, bulk upload and RSS

Each account has a weekly queue of time slots, and queue templates can be applied to many accounts. You can also schedule a post, share now, or share next. AI-suggested times offer the best slots for each account, and repeat posting can republish a post 1 to 10 times.

Bulk upload accepts a CSV or text file of up to 500 posts, including up to 20 image links per post and a first comment, and it is available on Premium and Ultimate only. TikTok carousels and Google Event and Offer posts cannot be bulk imported. Bulk Edit, added in March 2026, lets you edit up to 30 scheduled posts together. RSS feeds can fill your queue automatically, with 5, 10, 15 or 20 feeds depending on the plan. SocialPilot does not publish limits on queued or scheduled posts per plan.

3. Social Inbox and automation

Social Inbox starts on Standard. It covers Facebook Pages, Instagram Business and Creator accounts and LinkedIn Pages, and you can create separate inboxes per client or team. You can reply to, like, hide or delete comments on Facebook, reply to direct messages on Facebook and Instagram, and handle Instagram story mentions. LinkedIn direct messages are not supported, and direct messages on Facebook and Instagram have a 7-day reply window.

Since January 2026 an automation feature can auto-reply to comments and messages by keyword, immediately or with a delay, using AI or your own text, and send an Instagram DM when someone comments. We found no inbox for X, TikTok, YouTube, Threads or Bluesky.

4. AI Pilot

AI Pilot is the assistant inside the composer. It writes captions from a brief, rephrases, changes tone, shortens or expands text, translates and suggests hashtags. Credits are limited by plan: 500 on Essentials, 1,000 on Standard, 5,000 on Premium and unlimited on Ultimate and Enterprise. SocialPilot does not state the credit cost per action, the reset period, the AI model or the data policy.

5. Analytics and reports

Analytics starts on Standard and covers Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, YouTube and TikTok, with Facebook and Instagram split into organic and boosted results. Premium adds a drag-and-drop custom report builder for up to 10 accounts, competitor reports and white-label reports with your logo. Competitor reports cover Facebook and Instagram only and a 90-day window.

Reports export as PDF or CSV, can be emailed to up to 10 people, scheduled weekly or monthly, or shared by link without a login. We found no PowerPoint export. Help articles say a report covers a three-month window at a time, although you can go back up to two years.

6. Clients, approvals and white label

Roles are Owner, Admin, Manager, Content Scheduler and Client. Standard allows 3 users with manager approval. Premium adds unlimited client seats and client approval: clients are invited by email or a reusable link, connect their own accounts, and can approve posts through a link without logging in. An auto-approve setting publishes a post if the client has not responded an hour before it goes out.

Ultimate adds full white label: your brand name, colors, logo and favicon, a custom domain with SSL, a custom sending email, and a dedicated account manager with migration help. The Slack integration is not available to white-label users.

7. Mobile, extension, integrations, API and security

SocialPilot has iOS and Android apps and a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Its App Store rating is 3.0 from 17 ratings and its Google Play rating is 4.2 from about 2,260 reviews. Integrations include Canva, Unsplash, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, Giphy, Bitly, Feedly, Zapier and ChatGPT. SocialPilot launched an MCP server in April 2026. The public API and single sign-on are Enterprise only.

SocialPilot announced SOC 2 Type 2 certification in May 2024, offers two-factor authentication on every plan, and lets Ultimate accounts enforce it for the team and clients. We could not verify ISO 27001, a data-hosting region or an uptime guarantee. Support runs 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Annual billing saves 15 percent, prices exclude tax, and there is no free plan. The 14-day trial needs no credit card. Extra accounts cost 4 a month on every plan, and extra users cost 5 a month on Standard and Premium. SocialPilot’s refund policy is strict: it does not refund annual plans and does not give prorated refunds after more than a day of use. Nonprofits can ask for a discount, and SocialPilot offers 24 hours a day, 5 days a week support on every plan.

Two pricing pages
SocialPilot’s site has two live pricing pages. The Plans page, which the site menu links to and search engines index, shows the numbers in this review. A second page, hidden from search engines, shows lower limits and prices, for example 5 accounts for 17 a month on Essentials. Third-party articles mix the two. We use the Plans page, and you should check it, not an older page or a third-party table, before you buy.

Who Owns SocialPilot?

SocialPilot was bootstrapped until July 2025, when it announced that it would join group.one, a web services group headquartered in Sweden and backed by the private equity firm Cinven. group.one’s other brands include one.com, WP Rocket and Rank Math. SocialPilot did not disclose the deal terms. The founders were quoted in the announcement, but we found no statement on who runs the company now or how the roadmap may change. That is a reasonable question to ask before a long contract.

What Users Say About SocialPilot

Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 4.1 out of 5 from 57 reviews, and the split is polarized: 42 percent of reviews are five stars and 51 percent are one star. We read that page directly. Praise centers on support, ease of use and value, including bulk upload and the mobile app. The one-star reviews mostly concern an annual plan that could not be refunded after cancellation, and two reviewers say affiliate commissions were not paid. SocialPilot replied to the negative reviews, so treat these as one side of a story.

SocialPilot says it is rated 4.5 on G2 for ease of use. We could not read G2 or Capterra because both were behind bot checks, so we do not quote their review counts. Google Play shows 4.2 from about 2,260 reviews, and the App Store shows 3.0 from 17 ratings, so the Android app appears to be better received.

Final Verdict

SocialPilot is a practical agency tool with a clear price ladder. Standard is good value for a small team that needs an inbox and analytics, Premium unlocks client seats, approvals and bulk upload, and Ultimate offers a real white-label setup. The downsides are the lack of a free plan, a smaller network list, a limited inbox, strict refunds and a recent change of ownership.

Choose it if you run a small agency or a small team and want flat pricing with client features. Skip it if you need Mastodon, a free plan or an inbox for every network. Use the 14-day trial before you pay, read the refund terms, and compare it with the tools in our guide to the best social media management tools.
