Connect WhatsApp Business

1. WhatsApp is not on the onboarding cards — connect from Settings → Connected accounts (/settings#accounts).
2. Click Connect WhatsApp (Meta Business).
3. Complete Meta OAuth — link your WhatsApp Business Account and phone number.
4. Confirm Connected with display number and green status.

Direct Message trigger

1. Open /campaigns/whatsapp/new.
2. Direct Message is the only trigger — set keyword (exact, contains, any).
3. Add actions: Send message, Send attachment, Send products, Send location, Send contact, Send sticker, AI Response, Call webhook.

Send message (text)

1. Drag Send message — up to 4,096 characters.
2. Use {{affiliate_link}} for tracked product URLs.
3. Personalization tokens: {{first_name}}, {{username}} where supported.

Send attachment

1. One file per step — image, video, document, or audio.
2. Optional caption field in inspector.
3. Multiple files require multiple attachment steps chained with Delay if needed.

Send sticker, location, contact

1. Send sticker — upload WebP sticker, max 500 KB.
2. Send location — enter latitude/longitude or search address; optional name label.
3. Send contact — name + phone number for vCard delivery.

24-hour service window

1. WhatsApp allows free-form session messages within 24 hours of the user’s last inbound message.
2. Outside the window, only pre-approved template messages apply (configure in Meta Business Manager — DMpro session flows require active window).
3. Validation banner shows warning if flow cannot deliver outside window.

Publish WhatsApp campaign

1. Select connected WhatsApp number in builder header.
2. Click Publish campaign.
3. Send test message from personal WhatsApp to your business number.
