Campaigns & Target Lists

Manage campaign templates, target lists, and progress across Instagram, TikTok, and email.

A campaign groups together:

  • A prompt template defining the AI’s instructions
  • A target list (a CSV of Instagram or TikTok handles)
  • A channel: Instagram DM, TikTok DM, or cold email
  • Send settings: delays, daily caps, safety limits
  • Logs: who was pitched, what was sent, status of each

Campaigns keep your outreach organized and reportable, especially when you’re managing multiple product launches or client accounts at once.

  1. Open the DMpro side panel
  2. Go to Campaigns
  3. Click New campaign
  4. Give it a name (e.g. “Fitness affiliates Q3”)
  5. Pick the channel: Instagram DM, TikTok DM, or Cold Email
  6. Pick a prompt template
  7. Upload a target list CSV
  8. Set delays and daily caps
  9. Save (as draft) or Start queue (to begin sending)

In the campaign creation flow, click Upload CSV and pick your file. DMpro parses the columns (see CSV format for Instagram).

Preview the import: DMpro shows the first 5 rows so you can confirm the columns are read correctly. If something’s off (wrong column name, missing @, encoding issues), fix the CSV and re-upload.

Target lists are saved to your account, so you can:

  • Use the same list with a different prompt template to test a different angle
  • Duplicate a campaign to send a second-touch to the same list a week later
  • Merge lists (e.g. combine “fitness creators” + “gym brands” into one campaign)

Watch out for over-messaging: if you already pitched everyone on a list, sending again too soon is spammy and hurts response rates.

Open the campaign from the Campaigns list. You see a table with:

  • Handle / email
  • Extracted profile data (bio, followers)
  • The specific message that was sent (or drafted)
  • Timestamp of send
  • Status: queued, sent, failed, skipped, replied

Filter by status to focus on what needs attention: reruns for failed, follow-ups for replied, next-touches for sent.

Every campaign has an action menu with two options:

  • Archive: hides from the active list but keeps all data. Reversible.
  • Delete: removes the campaign and its logs. Not reversible.

Archive is the safer default. Delete only when you’re sure you’ll never need to reference the campaign again.
