You don&#8217;t want to sound pushy, but you also need to give fans a reason to support you. brandID includes 10 ready-to-use templates written for different creator types so you have a solid starting point in seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1 \u2014 Get to the Description Field<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When setting up your tip jar, you&#8217;ll go through a short wizard. On the <strong>Details<\/strong> step, you&#8217;ll see fields for your campaign name, description, and tip amounts. In the <strong>Description<\/strong> section, click the green <strong>Templates<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you haven&#8217;t started your tip jar setup yet, see <a href=\"https:\/\/brandid.app\/help\/how-to-set-up-a-tip-jar-on-brandid\/\"><em>How to Set Up a Tip Jar on brandID<\/em><\/a> first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2 \u2014 Browse the Templates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tipping Description Templates panel lists all 10 options on the left. Click any one to see the full text on the right. The templates cover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General Creator (All-Purpose)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educator \/ Tutorial Creator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Musician \/ Artist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fitness \/ Wellness Coach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comedian \/ Entertainment Creator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Podcaster<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gamer \/ Streamer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photographer \/ Videographer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writer \/ Blogger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-Profit \/ Cause Creator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pick the one that&#8217;s closest to what you do \u2014 it doesn&#8217;t have to be a perfect match, since you&#8217;ll be editing it anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3 \u2014 Apply and Personalize<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click <strong>Use Template<\/strong> in the top right of the preview panel. The text drops straight into your description box, ready to edit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"401\" src=\"https:\/\/brandid.app\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/bandicam_recording_5.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-361\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From there, treat it as a first draft. Change a word, swap in your own details, or delete any lines that don&#8217;t fit you. The goal is to get something on the page that sounds like you, not to use the template word for word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tip:<\/strong> Personalize at least one or two lines before publishing. Even small changes like your name, what you make, what the tips will fund and make the description feel genuine rather than generic.
